Technical Lead Angular 15 – 17 + PHP + Laravel + MySQL

This amazing opportunity is to work full-time from home, in-house position, at PRIME BPM, a SaaS company which provides SaaS, training and consulting services in the popular space of business transformation. Our customers include Pfizer, Airbus, Coca Cola, CBRE, KBR, Rockwell, MYOB, Flight Centre, Government departments etc. We are a global organisation, registered in Australia and Ireland. PRIME BPM is a web based SAAS application hosted on MS Azure and has been developed in PHP, Laravel Framework – Front end Angular JS and Back end mySQL.

As a Technical Lead at PRIMEBPM, you will be responsible to oversee the company’s technical team and the technical output of all external agencies employed to deliver technical projects. Working with the Product Manager you will analyse concept briefs, identify risks and develop work schedules to deliver the company’s roadmap, irradicate bugs and improve the existing functionality of our product. You should be able to work with your team and inspire them to reach their goals.

To be successful as a Technical Lead, you should always be expanding your industry knowledge and be able to quickly identify problems and be accountable and trustworthy.

What you need to deliver?

• Be responsible for the Technical Architecture and Technical Design of the PRIME product.
• Be responsible for the Code Quality of the product.
• Be responsible for analysing Concept Briefs supplied by the Product Manager to determine the timing and technical impact of introducing new features in the product
• Monitor software version releases to determine appropriate upgrades to be performed on the underlying software of the product and manage the upgrades
• Keeping up-to-date with industry software design trends and developments.
• Ensure the Technical Team maintain and develop front-end in Angular, including bug fixes and enhancements
• Ensure the Technology Team maintain and develop Web Application in PHP + Laravel, including bug fixes and enhancements
• Ensure the Technology Team maintain and develop database queries for MySQL Database
• Contribute to design of new features
• Be responsible for the Change Management of Technical changes to the PRIME product including developing and documenting the release process of changes and ensuring the team adheres to the process
• Ensure the Technical Team perform unit testing of own code and that the code is reviewed prior to release
• Be responsible for the Incident Management of the PRIME product
• Work closely with the Product Manager and Co-Founder to produce reports as required
• Be responsible for the technical development of the Technical Team members

Required skills to be successful in this position:

• 5 years’ experience in project management including evidence of major project delivery
• 12 – 15 years’ overall experience in Software Development industry
• At least 6 years in Front end development using Angular
• In depth knowledge of PHP + Laravel
• Experience in RESTful Web Services and API implementations
• Experience in using MySQL or similar RDBMS with Laravel Framework
• Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts
• Ability to accurately interpret requirements from documents and discussions
• Experience in assisting in the planning and scheduling workloads for co-workers
• Good verbal communication skills

Required qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in IT
