We are happy to announce that Bundaberg Regional Council has renewed its trust in PRIME BPM software with a contract extension. The renewal is targeted at taking Bundaberg Regional Council’s Business Process Improvement Journey to the next level of process maturity in line with its objectives of improving ratepayer experience, boosting employee satisfaction, and reducing cost.
Building upon the successful 2-year engagement, Bundaberg Regional Council will leverage the capabilities of PRIME BPM’s end-to-end Business Process Management software to further streamline and optimise council operations.
Formed in 2008, Bundaberg Regional Council caters to a population of more than 102,000 residents spread over an area of 6,451 sq km. Committed to providing improved services to its citizens, the council embarked on a business improvement journey in 2021 to identify bottlenecks, time inefficiencies, and cost wastages within its existing business processes.
One of the council’s primary objectives was to ensure greater visibility across the organisation and prevent any misuse of valuable resources. Additionally, the council sought insights to evaluate the return on investment for crucial IT changes such as system and application upgrades. PRIME BPM was selected for its powerful process mapping capabilities and intuitive analytics engine, which provides key process insights at the click of a button.
Nicole Miller, Business Improvement Lead said, “Council’s experience with the team at PRIME BPM has always been positive, maintaining customer relations with regular check-ins to discuss improvements of the product or having quick responsiveness to queries, providing knowledgeable answers. Council extended the contract with PRIME BPM after utilising it over the last 2 years as it is simple to use in mapping complex processes and has generated process improvement initiatives helping Bundaberg achieve its business objectives.”
Bundaberg Regional Council kickstarted the initiative by mapping the Payroll process, facilitating the development of business requirements specifications for system procurement. The next phase will focus on expanding process mapping efforts to other key business functions, enabling standardised processes and driving efficiencies across the council.
Commenting on the renewal, Mark Khabe, Co-Founder, PRIME BPM said, “We are excited to continue our collaboration with Bundaberg Regional Council and look forward to supporting them in their journey to transform into a process-dependent organisation. We remain dedicated to working closely with them to optimise efficiency within the council and improve services to residents.”
