Business Development Manager (New Business)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented BDM to join our sales team. This role is pivotal in driving top-of-the-funnel activities, including strategic outreach, lead qualification, and pipeline development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and is adept at initiating meaningful engagements with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic outreach activities via phone calls, personalized emails, and other channels to engage prospective customers.
- Utilize inbound leads generated by marketing efforts and outbound leads from SDR cold calling to identify and qualify potential opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to ensure seamless handoff of leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and lead activities in CRM software (HUBSPOT).
- Achieve and exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities passed to the Account Executive team.
- Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on feedback and market insights to optimize lead generation efforts.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Proven experience in a prospecting or similar sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and ability to apply them in prospecting activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also independently driving initiatives forward.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn).
